3N43 - Harvey Mine is one of many off-road trails in the San Bernardino National Forest, north of Big Bear Lake, in Holcomb Valley. This short trail is close to the Holcomb Valley Campground, near Coyote Crag and connects to the west end of the John Bull rock crawling trail. This is a great trail for a beginner with a high clearance 4x4 to explore while in Big Bear's Holcomb Valley or a quick short cut for more experienced wheelers going to or coming from a run through John Bull.

This off-road trail is mostly soft dirt but includes rutted sections, some small rocks, and one notable rock obstacle, at Waypoint 3, which might be trouble for 2WD vehicles. 3N43 connects from 3N07 - Van Dusen Creek on the east end, to 3N10-John Bull on the west. At just under one mile long, this is a quick trail with only mild challenges.
The unmarked roads intersecting with this trail at multiple waypoints are not shown on the current MVUM ( Motor Vehicle Use Map ). Stay on the designated routes.

Fun little easy to moderate trail. Connector trail, so we do it a lot. Gets tight in spots - full size trucks might get some tree branch pin striping. Video are samples East to West.
