Fun Run is one of three Jeep Badge of Honor trails you can wheel at Hot Springs ORV Park, and the most difficult of the three if you take the hard lines. It is a beautiful mile of wooded, rocky, and technical terrain that you don't want to miss. Moderate to hardcore wheelers will enjoy taking the hard line at Waypoint 5 with the three+ foot boulders to climb. Put your rig to the test and earn that badge!

Trail Difficulty and Assessment

Trail Navigation

Fun Run is an off-road trail consisting of gravel, dirt, rocks, and bigger rocks that winds through the woods. There are a couple of sections that look like old creek wash and are scattered with rocks, both loose and embedded in the ground. There are several uphill sections that consist of steep, large boulder climbs.

This trail was really a "Fun Run"! With the off camber and rocky terrain this was the most difficult trail of the day but the most fun. I had my wife and two young children with me and watching their expressions on this trail was priceless!! This trail will defiantly challenge your driving skills as you line can change quick in the rocky areas while wheeling with others. I earned my badge on this one!

This was the third Badge of Honor trail completed on this trip. It is the shortest of the three BOH trails in the park, but the most challenging. The "Bigger Rocks" at Waypoint 4 offer the best challenge but would be difficult for a stock vehicle. I would recommend visiting the park on a weekend other than Labor Day weekend. There were multiple large groups which made the trail slow going with a lot of start and stops.

Fun Run has a few rock obstacles that you will need to plan your line out so not to cause any damage. Most of the obstacles have an easier bypass but you will still need to take it easy. A great trail with some climbs and rocks.

My first trail ever . At first I was nervous due to never driving a jeep on a trail. Only driving mudpro1000 on pretty extreme rock trails. Being a first time jeep owner I wanted to earn trail badge. Stock rubicon hardrock edition . Slow n steady no problem

Another "must do" every time I visit hot Springs Off Road Park. I love taking passengers on this one if they have never been off-roading. :)
