Currently a mild-offroader and brOverlander in a lifted 4runner. Easy to moderate trails primarily front-range of Colorado and Moab -- for now. I have been wheelin' my entire 26-year life, from riding in my Dad's Jeep as a toddler to driving a built '89 Ranger (Dana 44 front, full-floater 9 inch rear, 5.13's, dual locked, dual tcases, custom exo cage, bumpers, 8klb winch, 37s...), but sold it to move to CO from WA.

(within last 6 months)
Old Stage Road (01/28/2023)
We cruised Old Stage to Gold Camp to get to Victor from the Springs. Both were expectedly covered in packed snow with sections of ice, but luckily we didn't run into any situations that required us to stop suddenly, as doing so (or starting again) could have been difficult or impossible.
Gold Camp Road (01/28/2023)
Easy, spots of ice and packed snow. Sections where you drive through the rocks has spots of deeper, rutted snow.
Phantom Canyon (01/28/2023)
Phantom Canyon is absolutely gorgeous. Sometimes difficult to focus on driving with the amount of views or things to look at. Road is well maintained, restrooms were open and clean. Spots of snow, as expected for January. Mostly dry on Saturday, but waking up Sunday morning had brought a dusting of snow. Camped at a marked campsite on an offshoot in-between waypoint 7 and 8, which had a small rock step and required 4wd/4lo to minimize wheel spin when returning to the main road.
