Travis Yost

Travis grew up in Central WA and as a young driver roamed the backroads as much as his old Volvos would allow, which isn't much compared to what he's been discovering in the last couple years with the 4Runner, although back then he was more apt to park somewhere and hike :) Since purchasing the 4Runner, his first 4X4, in 2016 Travis has been somewhat obsessed with driving every trail possible while discovering what he's willing to push through based on the rig's current build. With a career that has no definite weekends he often finds himself roaming around during the week when it's quiet and finding local groups that can swing a Friday or Monday run on harder trails. "I used to be totally content with driving alone, but after spending a couple weekends with larger 7-9 vehicle groups doing training on harder trails with recovery exercises, I would prefer to really challenge myself and my rig with a minimum of 3 capable vehicles." Travis is currently living in Ellensburg WA after spending eight years in Seattle and Issaquah and is happy to be back and exploring as many trails as possible. "I'm mostly always available to show folks around some area trails if they would like some guidance, from Ellensburg you have a variety of trail levels within an hour in most directions, give me shout!" He also visits Nelson, BC every 4-6 weeks and plans on doing some mapping in that area as well.
