Kyle Winfree

Kyle was introduced to overlanding as a kid when his family moved from Vero Beach, Florida to Buhl, Idaho. They regularly "car camped" in remote areas of southern Idaho. Following several years in Idaho, he moved to upstate New York and then to Flagstaff, Arizona. By the time he received his drivers license, he was getting into bouldering (light weight rock crawling). Now, as a parent, his focus is on overlanding once again, to ensure he kids get to see and appreciate nature. In 2015 Kyle attended the Western National Land Rover Rally. With Jon Christensen, he led his group of fellow Rover fanatics to take first place in the skills competition. He is the fourth owner of his Land Rover Discovery 2. If you too live in Flagstaff, there's a good chance you have seen it around. Lifted, and moderately armored, his truck is set up for both daily driving and the long haul.
