Twitter: @utslick68 IG: utslick68 Most of my local off-loading is done in and around the Cherokee and Nanatahala National Forests which surround the Great Smoky Mountains in East TN. Also, Windrock OHV Park in the Cumberland Mountains is an easy drive. My preference is being out West, in Colorado and Wyoming, especially. I was able to do the San Juan area in 2016 and 2020. I've spent a lot of 2018, 2020 and 2021 exploring the Snowies, Bighorns, Absarokas and all points in between throughout Wyoming. Moab and the Mighty 5 was on the docket for 2023, before the Tennessee at BYU football game was cancelled in 2022. Hopefully I can reschedule at some point.

This one is still in process, and "technically" isn't mine... This has been a restoration project between my daughter and I, and when it's finished by December of 2022, it'll be hers. The restoration has been centered around mechanical reliability and making the 80-series a bit easier to live with and drive. A few of the completed and in-process mods, replacements and upgrades are: OEM wheels powder coated in oil-rubbed bronze LT285/75R16 E Cooper Discoverer LTX AT3 tires Center Differential Lock Switch Upgrade (adds center locked 4hi operation) Ironman 4x4 Front bumper with hoop and LED fogs Aftermarket TPMS with switch-pod display Scanguage II on A-Pillar mount for diagnostics LC100-series electric pusher fan addition Redline Cruisers fan clutch mod for quicker lockup Sony Head Unit w CarPlay 2 Kicker 3.5" 2 Kicker 4" 4 Pioneer extreme shallow mount 6.5" Pioneer 5x8 under-seat powered sub White Knuckle Off-road sliders with step, powder coated in bronze to match wheels Full mass-backed carpet replacement Selective dynamat on trans tunnel for heat Exterior wrap in 3M Deep Matte Black 2 stage 3M Ceramic coating Sleep Off-road Headlight wire harness upgrade Titanium Burlwood interior trim accents Class III receiver Hitch More mechanical work than I can remember: Full cooling system from radiator, fan, thermostat, hoses... Everything Full A/C system, from compressor and condenser and resistor down to the HVAC control buttons Full braking system, calipers to pads, rotors, fluid, booster, everything. Valve cover, tune up, EGR, O2s, front main, oil pump gasket, throttle cable, steering knuckles, axle seals... Etc. The only thing that hasn't been touched (yet) is the very rusty exhaust system.
