Year Started:

Off-Road Style:
Dirt Roads/Backroads
My Garage:
  • 2011 Nissan Xterra (1.5" lift, 32" tires)
Started 4 wheeling with a '71 IH TravelAll. It would pass everything on the highway but a gas station and corn field. There wasn't a hill that it couldn't climb, and it was stock. 392 engine with the Chrysler 727 transmission. Once it died, I got a Scout. Then a Scout Traveler. The next vehicle was a Ford F250 Supercab that pulled the camper and also 4 wheeled. It wasn't like the Cornbinders though, it was too long. Years pass and now it is the Xterra. Only changes I've made to it was to replace the shocks with Pro4 shocks when the originals wore out, and had the springs re-arched and another leaf added. Tires are Firestone Destination AT (P rated). Next set of tires will be LT rated.
