I finally realized my lifelong dream of owning a Jeep in Nov. of 2018 and I haven't looked back since. I've been scouring the deserts and mountains of Southern California for the perfect trail, and having a blast meeting new people while exploring new places. I’ve also had the opportunity to do some great wheeling throughout the Southwest. I'm looking forward to extending my wheeling resume with trails far and wide.

Kandy is a 2013 JK Rubicon sporting a Rock Krawler 3.5" X-Factor lift with 35" tires on 17" Moto Metal 951 chrome wheels. Her steering is handled by a PSC big-bore hydraulic system and Yeti linkage. Power is transmitted through Adams 1350 driveshafts to stock Dana 44 axles (sleeved and gusseted up front) with Revolution Gear shafts. She has a 1st generation XRC bumper up front with a matching 8000lb winch and an LoD Destroyer bumper out back. She's got Bushwhacker fenders, Deegan 38 rock slider steps with built in KC rock lights, and Baja Designs Squadron windshield lights. She has Rubicon Express armor underneath.

Mengel Pass (12/03/2022)
A fun section of trail for those who want a little bit more rocks than Goler Wash has to offer. The trail shouldn't give any capable rig/wheeler issues; mostly a matter of picking your line through the rocks. The hardest spot (5) has been filled in with rocks recently, so it isn't as challenging as in the past. Views from the top and down to Butte Valley are fantastic.
Lotus Mine Road (12/03/2022)
Not for those who are afraid of heights. The fairly narrow trail climbs quickly through some moderate switchbacks. The view from the top is pretty good, but you're looking down a canyon, so not that expansive. Spot a t the top had JUST enough room to turn 5 Jeeps around. The road continues over the saddle, but the day was short and we didn't have time to continue on. Next trip for sure.
Mojave Road (11/11/2022)
Fabulous experience that I would recommend to anybody. We ran the Mojave Road over Veterans Day weekend. Our group of 4 very capable Jeeps (2 JLUs set up for overlanding and a JK and TJ that are NOT) had no issues on the trail, even following the trail over the Piute Mountains, through the washouts. We made our first camp at Mid-hills campground and our second at the base of Little Cowhole Mountain. I can't imagine trying to do this trip in less than 3 days and will give it at least 4 the next time, as there were small sites and side trips that we had to skip to make camp by nightfall each day. Our only significant deviations or stops were for Fort Piute, Lava Tubes & Aiken Mine, and Spooky Cave; which were all awesome. The trail itself has every surface the desert has to offer and will test you and your rig's fortitude with washboard and whoops for what seems like hours on end sometimes. As you would expect, this is a trail that still allows you to leave civilization behind (but it takes a while) with stretches that have no cellular service and nothing but desert wilderness as far as the eye can see. You should be over prepared on this trip for your own peace of mind.
Rattlesnake Gulch (10/07/2022)
Absolutely love this trail! Doing the trail in October, the creek flow was pretty low. Though this made the sections that were in water a bit easier, it also opened up more creek bed to wheel in (there were sections of trail along the banks that we didn’t need to use). The beginning of the trail is VERY dusty.
