For the best experience using the trailsoffroad.com website, we
recommend using the most up-to-date version of one of the following web
browsers from your desktop, tablet or phone:
It's important to note that many features on our website will not work
when using older versions of web browsers, particularly Internet
Explorer. Microsoft doesn't even support Internet Explorer anymore. As
such we cannot provide technical support if you are using an outdated
browser—you must first upgrade to a current browser so that we can
assist you.
Account Basics
How do I create a membership account?
Creating a Trails Offroad account is quick, easy, and totally free! If
you don't have an account, you can sign up using your email address by
clicking
here.
With a Basic Free Community Account, you can:
- Access over 1,000 off-road trail guides.
- Save your favorite trails
- Get driving directions directly to the trailhead
- Read and leave community trail reviews
- Read the basic trail difficulty rating
How do I reset my Password?
If you're having trouble logging in to your Trails Offroad account,
navigate to the Log In page and look for Reset
Password at the bottom.
After submitting your email address and clicking the blue button, you
will receive an email with instructions for resetting your password. If
you don't see this email in your inbox after a few minutes, please check
your spam/junk folder.
If you have any trouble resetting your password please email
support@trailsoffroad.com
and we'll be happy to issue you a temporary password.
How do I update my profile and garage?
While logged in, simply click My Dashboard in the navbar. Scroll down
and look for View/Update on the right side of the screen.
How do I change my password/email address?
Navigate to My Dashboard and then look for View/Update under My Profile
in the lower right. From there, you can find a Reset Password/Change
Email Address button.
If that doesn't work, please contact us at
support@trailsoffroad.com and we will take care
of it.
How do I delete my account?
While logged in, navigate to your profile and click "EDIT". Scroll to
the bottom the page and select the red "DELETE ACCOUNT" button.
How do I link my blog or website to my profile?
Feel free to link to your personal websites/blogs using the Bio section
of the profile page.

All-Access is available for $39.99 per year.
How do I upgrade to All-Access?
Log in to your Trails Offroad account, then click
All-Access to sign up with
your credit card.
What is the difference between Limited Access trails and All-Access

How do I change my renewal settings? How do I update my credit card
information?
Click on My Dashboard and scroll down to the bottom and in the lower
right, you will see Your Account. Click "Manage" and it will bring up
the subscription management page (ensure popups are enabled if this is
not working). From here you can either cancel your subscription or edit
your billing information.
Trails
What are All-Access Preview trails?
When you see the "All-Access Preview" symbol, that is a trail where we
make available all the trail details for our Basic Free Membership
What are All-Access trails?
All-Access trails are denoted by an All-Access badge. The trail
information for these trails is only made available to our All-Access
Members.
How do I share a trail?
If you would like to share a trail to social media or friends simply
highlight the URL bar and share the link!
How do I add trails to my favorite list?
When on any trail click the "Favorite Trail" heart button.
How do I review a trail?
You can leave a trail review on any trail. Simply find the trail and
find the link the community section of that trail page and click "ADD
TRAIL REVIEW". Be sure to give it a star rating!
How do I edit a trail review?
While logged in, just go to your trail review and click the blue "EDIT"
button.
Using Trails Offroad with GPX Device or App
How do I export GPX files to my device or app?
For using a smart phone or tablet gpx application, this is best done
by accessing the site directly from your smart phone/tablet. Log onto
the website from the device, find your trail(s) and click the download
buttons. These will open within your gpx application.
From a desktop, simply click download and then move the file wherever
you need it to be in order to access it.
Can I share GPX files?
Our gpx files are intended for your personal use only. They may not be
shared on any type of cloud service, other websites or generally made
available to the public at large.
